I give out the blog address every once in a while. Not sure how many new people check it, but I wanted to let you know about a blog that I came across that gives some good tips for those of you who are just starting. Savings List.
One point that she makes that I agree with is not buying something just because you have the coupon. The rule that my husband and I have is that if the generic is less, then you still buy the generic. We do give ourselves $0.10 or so difference. If we really like the name brand and the generic is $0.10 less, then we will still get the name brand.
